The max weight lifting capability of the drone is determined by the drone’s propellers thrust and thrust-to-weight ratio that is kept to the maximum since the Drone Sky Hook Release & Drop device weighs under 40 grams. While the Mavic AIR 1 drone can momentarily lift about 350 grams, for safety reasons the maximum payload should be less than 250 grams under ideal conditions and recommended not to exceed 200 grams. There are many factors that determine the maximum payload the drone can carry. Always account for wind conditions, flying distance, altitude, temperature, payload drag, bait weight, fishing line length and weight and other factors. Get yourself familiar with your drone operation before carrying payloads. Do not overload your drone with heavy or bulky payloads that it cannot safely carry.
