The max weight lifting capability of the drone is determined by the drone’s propellers thrust and thrust-to-weight ratio that is kept to the maximum since the Drone Sky Hook ARROW Release & Drop device weighs only 59 grams. While the Phantom 3 drone can momentarily lift about 1 kg, for safety reasons the maximum payload should be less than 700 grams under ideal conditions and recommended not to exceed 500 grams. There are many factors that determine the maximum payload the drone can carry. Always account for wind conditions, flying distance, altitude, temperature, payload drag, bait weight, fishing line length and weight and other factors. Get yourself familiar with your drone operation before carrying payloads. Do not overload your drone with heavy or bulky payloads that it cannot safely carry.
